Primal Treats

Description

Each of our dehydrated primal treats is a combination of muscle and organ meats from a single species. While they are not nutritionally complete and balanced, they do come relatively close, with a few exceptions.

Besides the nutritional aspect of including organ meats, they also serve another purpose. Most dogs and cats find the organs to be more enticing than muscle meat. This is the opposite of most of us who would much rather have a steak than liver or kidney.

While Organs are a great source of essential nutrients, there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. This is also the benefit of diluting the amount of organ meat in the treats by including muscle meat.

Treats should never make up more than 10% of daily calories. That is why we recommend also recommend rotating between different treats. Whether they are muscle meats or organs. Whether they come from the land or sea. Whether it is cattle, poultry or wild game. They all offer different levels and percentages of important vitamins, minerals, Types of fats, and Amino Acids. By rotating between treats you ensure your furry friends get a wider range of nutrients.
